Some friends in the fields

The Seed Friends or “Beej Mitra” Programme is a new project of the BBA geared towards creating a support network of individuals and small organizations in India and across the globe. In exchange for an annual or one-time sliding-scale grant of 10-1000 euros, the BBA proposes to keep Friends informed with a periodic report or newsletter about the group’s progress. Furthermore, the BBA invites Seed Friends to spend a few days or weeks with us, work in the fields if the time of the year so demands, or simply laze around/write/paint, while getting to know the countryside and the pressing issues in the region. Also, if possible, we may send the Seed Friends our organic products. In turn, the Seed Friends may also invite us to their respective places/state/country, (wherever feasible) for meetings, seminars, or lectures and help us be part of the larger national/global struggle for sustainable agriculture.
